Kris Humphries Gets Last Laugh With Kanye West?
Kris Humphries just may have the last word in his love triangle with Kim Kardashian and Kanye West.
The power forward has re-signed with the Brooklyn Nets in a two-year, $24 million deal and is now humorously poking fun at Kanye’s musical diatribe flexing his “power” with Nets co-owner Jay-Z against him.
“Kris has been a very consistent player for us over the past two years,” Nets general manager Billy King said in a statement. “He has developed into one of the top rebounding forwards in the league, and we are very pleased to welcome him back.”
Best known to the public for his 72-day marriage to Kardashian (who he’s now in the middle of divorce proceedings with) Humphries was name-checked in West’s track “Cold” (aka “Theraflu”) with the now infamous line: “And I’ll admit, I fell in love with Kim / ‘Round the same time she had fell in love with him / Well that’s cool, baby girl, do ya thing / Lucky I ain’t have Jay drop him from the team.”
