Halle Berry Suffers Head Injury While Shooting Movie
July has not been the best month for Hollywood. Halle Berry is the latest celebrity to rock a hospital wristband after falling and hitting her head on concrete on Tuesday while filming her new movie, The Hive. Reportedly, the Oscar-winning actress began throwing up after the fall (a sign of a concussion), and was taken to the hospital for treatment. According to Halle’s rep:
“Halle Berry suffered a minor head injury while shooting a fight sequence on the set of her film, ‘The Hive.’ She was taken to the hospital as a precaution, but she checked out healthy and was released. She’ll continue production as planned.”
Halle has since left the hospital.
The Hive tells the story of a 911 emergency worker that answers a cry for help from a teenage girl in serious danger from a disturbed killer. It is scheduled for release sometime in 2013. Let’s just hope Halle makes it through filming without anymore mishaps.
