Nike Plans To Release A Limited-Edition Nike+ FuelBand “Ice” Soon

Do you have a Nike+ FuelBand yet? I’m sorry to say that I don’t. I slept on them a little bit when Nike first released the FuelBands, had trouble ordering one when they became super popular and sold out everywhere, and have been waiting for a good excuse to order one for the last few weeks. Now, I think I’ll be waiting a few more weeks to buy one—but not because I don’t want one! No, I’m going to hold off and wait to buy a FuelBand because Nike is planning on releasing a special, limited-edition FuelBand in an “Ice” color soon that’s guaranteed to turn make the FuelBand even better than it already is.

In case you’re not familiar with the FuelBand, here’s what you need to know: It’s a band that you wear around your wrist everyday that tracks how many steps you take, what types of exercises you do, and how many calories you burn. Basically, if you’re a health nut or just someone who wants to keep a closer eye on their health, this band is for you. But, it’s also become fashionable over the course of the last few months, too. It doubles as a watch, so there are a lot of people out there who have been wearing it when they go out to dinner and hit the clubs. And, why not? You consume and burn calories when you do those things, too, so you might as well wear it.

But, now, Nike is taking things a step further by introducing this new “Ice” colorway. It draws inspiration from the Nike Air Force 1 outsole and looks even more fashionable than the original all-black FuelBand. It’ll only be available for a limited time, though, and once supplies run out, Nike probably won’t re-release it again anytime soon. So, if you’re interested in it, look for it to drop at select Nike stores in New York City, London, and San Francisco on July 27 with a NikeStore.com launch coming on August 12. Take a closer look below. Are you copping it?
