Technically the uncovered photo of Blue Ivy Carter that set the Internet ablaze yesterday wasn’t her first. Mama Beyoncé and papa Jay-Z decided to break with celebrity couple tradition (making us love them even more) when they freely published photos of the new addition to their family via Jay’s site, Lifeandtimes.com, as a newborn.
The latest photo of BIC, taken yesterday by an unknown person as Beyoncé shopped in the Bergdorf Goodman department store in New York City, shows the cherubic six-month-old in her curly-haired glory. Jokes abounded online that whoever took the pic is already tied up in a basement somewhere in Brooklyn, feeling Jay’s wrath at such a bold move. But what would you do if you had the chance to capture such a moment and share it online, knowing everyone was waiting for it? Would you be respectful and let the moment pass, only sharing the vivid memory with your closest friends?
