A$AP Rocky was arrested a few days ago after getting into a scuffle with a couple of guys that took some pictures of him. It all went down on Thursday night when the rap newcomer got into an argument with an associate in downtown Manhattan. According to TMZ:

“We’re told A$AP and a friend quickly turned their attention to the amateur photogs … and a full-fledged fight erupted. Our sources say the two victims suffered cuts and bruises with one requiring treatment at a hospital.

We’re told responding officers arrested AR … and he’s expected to be booked for attempted robbery. It’s unclear, at this point, what he’s accused of trying to pilfer.”

A$AP Rocky’s music has received plenty of critical acclaim over the last several months. The Harlem native is a member of the hip-hop collective A$AP Mob, and is expected to release his debut studio album, LongLiveA$AP, in September. Now that he’s having run-ins with the law, he’s officially on his way to hip-hop superstardom.
