Michael Jackson’s 82-Year-Old Mother Katherine Is Reportedly Missing
Ever since Michael Jackson‘s tragic passing three years ago, his mother Katherine has held the family together and helped raise his three children Prince , Paris and Blanket. But now, things seem to be unraveling for the famous family as the 82-year-old has been reported missing.
Late Saturday, Katherine’s nephew Trent Jackson filed a report with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Office after he and several other family members were unable to get in contact with Katherine. Paris, 14, even took to her Twitter account to voice her concerns:
According to Jackson family lawyer Sandra Ribera, Katherine traveled from Calabasas, California to Albuquerque, New Mexico on July 15 to attend a concert with her daughter Rebbie Jackson. “The kids were trying to get a hold of their grandmother and they haven’t been able to reach her for almost a week,” Ribera told CNN. “They are told she’s unavailable…I’m concerned that she’s not safe. [Katherine] has never gone 24 hours without talking to her kids.”
Allegedly, Paris called Rebbie and Janet Jackson several times in an attempt to speak with her grandmother but was told each time that Katherine was “unavailable.” After Jermaine’s above tweet, Paris responded via Twitter: “The same doctor that testified on behalf of dr murray saying my father was a drug addict (a lie) is caring for my grandmother…just saying.”
According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, “Katherine Jackson is reportedly with family members, but she could still not be contacted. Deputies are continuing to make efforts to reach her and ask that she contact the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.”
