Teddy Bears, Butterflies…& Paper Dolls?! Inside Jeremy Scott’s Fall 2012 Adidas Collection
One look at the wacked out photo above and it’s easy to see why Jeremy Scott is the designer of choice for rapper Nicki Minaj.
The outside-the-box, kooky creator recently unveiled his Fall/Winter 2012 collection for adidas and, as usual, his looks are all about expecting the unexpected. The eclectic mix of hoodies, dresses, jackets, and more feature unorthodox materials (teddy bears), unconventional silhouettes (butterfly wings) and lots of funky prints (one dress even features Jeremy’s own face!). According to adidas, the inspiration for the collection came from “playing with nature and technology while wrapping everything up in a ’90s-inspired look. The new collection features flower and animal prints, a new interpretation of the popular teddy bears and computer keyboard prints, all mixed with the remarkable brandings and designs of the 3-Stripes brand.”
