The U.S. men’s Olympic basketball team isn’t the only group of athletes getting laced with player exclusive sneakers at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. In fact, several members of the U.S. women’s Olympic basketball team will also be sporting some special kicks during the Olympic games that you might want to keep a look out for. Our favorite? The “Olympic” adidas adiZero Crazy Light 2 that Candace Parker will be rocking on the court during the Games. With the women’s team expected to coast to another gold medal in London, you’re probably going to be seeing plenty of these over the course of the next couple of weeks.

As you can see, these aren’t all that different from the regular Crazy Light 2 sneakers that adidas released recently. But, they do come in a special “Olympic” colorway that adidas created specifically for Parker to wear during the Olympics. The super light sneakers have a white Sprint Web upper, a bright-red Three Stripes design on the back, and red all throughout the inner lining of the sneaker and the midsole. Navy blue accents can also be found on Parker’s Ace3 logo and the borders of the Three Stripes. And, hey, what else can we say? These match the women’s basketball uniforms perfectly and are certainly very patriotic.

As the women’s basketball team attempts to win their fifth straight gold medal in London, you’ll see Parker wearing these during each and every game. That’ll start when the U.S. women take on Croatia on Saturday morning and end (hopefully!) when they take the podium towards the end of the Olympics. If you’re a female looking for some solid basketball sneakers or someone who just wants to collect as many patriotic sneakers as you can during the 2012 Olympics (there are certainly plenty of them floating around!), consider trying to get your hands on a pair of these. We’re not sure when or where they might be available, but keep your eyes peeled. Especially if the U.S. team brings home the gold.
