New Music: Brian Angel Featuring Dorrough Music “Killa”

Is there life after boy group fame? Artists like Brian Angel (formerly of Day 26) are setting out to prove there definitely is with the right team, talent and determination.

While Angel’s debut solo single “Killa” is yet another ode to strippers, its infectious beat and guest rap verse from fellow Texan Dorrough Music set it apart from the usual fare. He recently told VIBE.com, “I’m nervous to see how people are going to take in what I’m doing because it’s all me now. I know people are used to the whole Day 26 sound, but I think ‘Killa’ is definitely a great start in showing the growth in who Brian Angel has grown into.”

With a grown and sexy sound taking its cues from classic 90s R&B, Angel (who over the years has toured with Ginuwine, Jagged Edge, Avant, Joe, Brian McKnight and Destiny’s Child) is preparing his new album and keeping busy with promo for the new single. Check it out below:
