The Paparazzi Tampered With Mischa Barton’s Car Tires Recently

Ever since Princess Diana‘s tragic death, paparazzi and celebrities have been like oil and water. They don’t mix.

This latest story is a clear example why. Just weeks after Justin Bieber called 911 complaining that a speeding ticket was the result of him being chased on the highway by paparazzi, The OC alum Mischa Barton took to Twitter to vent about the paparazzi getting way too close.

“Thanks a lot to the photographer who decided to let the air out [of our] tires and watch us pump them back up,” Barton tweeted. “Haven’t been so upset about paparazzi pictures online in a long time. It’s stalking and beyond invasive when you don’t know someone’s there blatantly watching your private moments, it brought me to tears.”

The 26-year-old actress was allegedly swimming with her boyfriend Sebastian Knapp at a secluded beach in Spain while being hounded by photographers when the incident occurred. Dressed in a pink swimsuit, Mischa was visibly shaken while she and her beau awaited roadside assistance. And, of course, the paparazzi swarmed the area to catch the whole debacle on film.

“It’s not even when I’m in a fabulous outfit or doing something interesting,” she tweeted during her rant. “It’s when I’m swimming with my man on a secluded beach, sorry for my rant it’s just u come to a piece of heaven like Formentera and even here I can’t swim in the sea. Very sad face.”

Do you think the paparazzi have gone too far—or do celebrities ask for this kind of attention when they become famous?
