Allen Iverson and Reebok Are Re-Releasing The Reebok Answer IV This Month
A couple months ago, Allen Iverson and Reebok got together to re-release his first signature sneaker, the Reebok Question. And—no surprise!—it got a great response. Within just days of being released, the Question was nearly impossible to find. Old fans of AI and his sneakers showed up in droves to snatch them up and new fans got in on the action, too, by buying the first sneaker that AI ever wore on an NBA court.
Fortunately for us, AI and Reebok aren’t stopping there. In fact, they’ve already got the next Answer sneaker ready to go this month. It’s the Reebok Answer IV and it’s the same sneaker that Iverson wore back in 2000 and 2001 when he won the NBA’s MVP award and helped lead the Philadelphia 76ers to the NBA Finals. Available initially in a black and white colorway (it’ll also be available in a red and white colorway sometime in the fall), the retro Answer VI will feature the same unique lacing system as the original Answer VI, a zip-up upper, and Reebok’s new DMX technology in place of the Hexalite technology that the original Answer VI used. If you bought a pair of Questions a couple months ago, these will be the perfect companion for them.
If you’re interested in copping these, you’re not going to have much time to get your act together. The Answer IVs will be available in stores beginning August 10 and will start at $115. And, they will go quickly, just like the Questions did. So, don’t get caught waiting until the last minute to try and find an answer to buy these Answers.
