Taylor Swift might have finally found the antidote to the teardrops on her guitar.

The 22-year-old country singer has infamously dated a slew of Hollywood’s most eligible bachelors, ranging from her Valentine’s Day co-star Taylor Lautner and Brokeback Mountain actor  Jake Gyllenhaal to famed musicians Joe Jonas and John Mayer. But, Taylor’s latest beau looks like he’s a keeper. Call her the next Kate Middleton because Swift is dating the closest thing America has to royalty: Conor Kennedy.

The son of the late Mary Richardson (she committed suicide this past May) and Robert Kennedy Jr., Swift has been spending a lot of time with the 18-year-old Kennedy at the Kennedy compound in Hyannis Port, Massachusetts enjoying pizza parties, sailing, and adorable walks on the beach. The two first met when Conor’s aunt Rory Kennedy attended one of her concerts.

“Rory went to a concert of hers with her two little girls, and that’s how that started. That’s how we first met Taylor Swift, and she’s a great friend of all of ours,” Ethel Kennedy, Conor’s grandmother, said while promoting her HBO bio-documentary, Ethel. And it looks like the new couple have already garnered the blessing of the historical American political family.

“We should be so lucky,” Ethel said about the possibility of Swift one day marrying her grandson. “We love her. She’s awesome.”

Apparently, Taylor has been enamored with the nephew of the late President of the United States John F. Kennedy and even wrote a song to commemorate the relationship (as she has been known to do in regards to most of her romantic entanglements). “She had read a ton of books about our family,” Rory told ABC News. “She was inspired and wrote a song. She really just loves my mother (Ethel), which is so sweet.”

Check out pictures of Taylor and Conor getting close below. Do you think the two make a cute couple or is Conor destined to be the inspiration behind Taylor’s next male-bashing album?
