Victoria Beckham is probably one of the most famous soccer moms in the world right now. But, unlike other women stuck in their frumpy fashions and unflattering mom jeans, the former Spice Girls is never a slave to fashion. Not only is the mother of four a world-renowned fashion designer. But, recently, when she couldn’t find a pair of prescription glasses that struck her fancy, she decided to design a pair of her own.

The wife of David Beckham is set to launch her own line of spectacular spectacles for Spring/Summer 2013. “I do need to wear glasses—[but] I haven’t found glasses that suit me or that I particularly like,” said Victoria, who modeled a pair of her Posh frames in the September issue of Glamour. “I’ve always been quite self-conscious, so that’s why I’ve decided to do them myself. I will be wearing my glasses now, and it will be nice to see where I’m going for once.”

Produced by Cutler and Gross in Italy, the six styles will be revealed at the international eye wear exhibition in Silmo Paris on October 4th.
