Solange Knowles has already made a name for herself on red carpets around the globe for her quirky style that is 100 percent unique. And now, the fashionista is bringing her originality to the forefront as the face of Madewell’s Fall 2012 campaign “Mix Well. Madewell.”
“Solange’s great style mix-matched perfectly with Madewell’s aesthetic,” said the fashion juggernaut in an official statement. Solange, who is signed to Next Model Management, has already starred in advertisement campaigns for House of Dereon, Carol’s Daughter, Rimmel London, Armani Jeans, and Op. But, according to Beyonce’s little sister, when it comes to fashion: mixing and matching is what she does best.
“I know that because I wear so much color and print, I might not want to mix so many textures,” the Brooklyn-based actress and singer told People recently. “I am also attentive to my body. I love the way some of the over-sized, extremely exaggerated, boxy proportions look on some girls…but it just doesn’t work for me. It’s all about what you feel works for you.”
