LeBron James Fans Need These Nike Zoom Soldier VI “Black/Red” Sneakers
You know how popular LeBron James is right now? He’s got not one, but two pairs of signature sneakers that he’s helping Nike to sell. During the 2011-12 NBA season, he rocked the Nike LeBron 9 in a boatload of different colorways. And, not surprisingly, they were a hit. After all the success that the Nike LeBron 8 enjoyed, we thought it’d be tough for him to duplicate that success. But, he managed to do it with that LeBron 9 and both he and Nike deserve a lot of credit for it. But, during the Olympics, he hasn’t been wearing the LeBron 9s. Instead, he’s been favoring the Nike Zoom Soldier VI that has been made to look just like a LeBron signature sneaker. And, we love them almost as much as we love the LeBron 9s.
Recently, Nike released this slick Nike Zoom Soldier VI “Black/Red” sneaker and it fits nicely into the LeBron lineup. With a colorway that looks like it’d match perfectly with LBJ’s Miami Heat uniform—or, for your intents and purposes, a Miami Heat fitted hat—Nike clearly has another hit on their hands with these. They feature a red strap around the collar of the sneaker, a Nike Hyperfuse upper, and some LBJ-specific branding on both the sole and the heel of the sneaker. We haven’t had a chance to slip our feet into a pair yet, but they look like they’d be a very sturdy, solid basketball sneaker.
If you’re in the market for a new pair of sneaks and you can’t wait for the Nike LeBron 10 to hit stores, we suggest going after a pair of these. At $120, they’re priced well below what you’d pay for a pair of LeBron 9s right now. And, even if you’re not going to use them to play ball, these would be ideal for wearing out this summer. You can get your hands on a pair right now. What do you think?
