Well they didn’t waste any time bringing the drama. Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson was arrested Saturday night in Florida for allegedly head-butting his new wife, Evelyn Lozada. Reportedly, after the incident, the Basketball Wives star was taken to the hospital to be treated for lacerations on her forehead. According to TMZ:

“…the fight started when Lozada found a receipt for condoms in the center of the couple’s Maserati and confronted Johnson about it. A verbal argument ensued.

We’re told at some point during the argument, Johnson head-butted Lozada. According to reports, Johnson told police he butted heads with Lozada by accident.”

Apparently, Chad may have to remain behind bars until Monday since there are no bond judges scheduled to work today.

Evelyn and the NFL star got engaged in 2010 after four months of dating. The couple exchanged vows on July 4 in Saint Martin with VH1 cameras filming the whole extravaganza for their upcoming reality show, Ev and Ocho. The show, which premieres next month, will follow the couple as they plan their wedding and begin their happily ever after, but something tells me this isn’t the happily ever after Evelyn had in mind.
