Over the course of the last few months, we’ve been keeping a close eye on the re-release of the Ewing Athletics 33 Hi sneakers. Originally, Ewing Athletics announced that they were coming out of retirements to drop some new products, but they didn’t say exactly what they would be releasing. Then, they announced that they’d be re-introducing the Ewing Athletics 33 Hi sneakers, but they didn’t offer us a peek at them. Finally, they got around to showcasing some teaser photos of the Ewing Athletics 33 Hi sneakers and then some actual photos of what the entire sneaker collection will look like. And now, as they prepare to release four colorways of the Ewing Athletics 33 Hi later this month, we get the best look yet—an up-close and personal look at what the sneakers will look like on your feet.

As you can see, these are the Ewing Athletics 33 Hi “Knicks” version of the sneakers, which were recently shown off by sneaker guru DJ Clark Kent. He put a pair on to show exactly what they’ll look like when you wear them. These feature a leather upper with blue and orange “Knicks” accents throughout the sneakers. And, we have to admit: We like what we see. Our main concern with the Ewing Athletics 33 Hi sneaker is that it’s really “hi.” But, as you can see here, the sneakers will look just fine paired with some jeans.

Now that we’ve seen this photo, we can’t wait to get our hands on a pair of these. For us non-Knicks fans out here, we might not go with this particular colorway (though, for the record, this colorway will be in high demand, so make sure you snatch up a pair as soon as they become available). But, we’re sure the other colorways, including the simple black-and-white colorway, will look just as good as these. Look for them to hit stores later this month. Who’s copping?
