Much Ado About Miley Cyrus’s New Short Haircut
Possibly signaling a new maturity as she nears the end of her teens, Miley Cyrus has debuted a drastic new haircut.
The recently engaged actress/singer (to Australian actor Liam Hemsworth) took to Twitter to publicly broadcast the event and tweeted midway through the cut, “If you don’t have something nice to say don’t say anything at all. My hair is attached to my head no one else’s and it’s going bye bye.” Her New York-based hair stylist Chris McMillan also put a photo on Instagram of the haircut in progress:
The former Hannah Montana star was allegedly bombarded with a barrage of negative tweets immediately following the reveal, prompting her to tweet later that day: “Feeling so happy in my skin. My dad @billyraycyrus used to tell me ‘opinions are are like a** holes every body has one’ LOVE my hair .. feel so happy, pretty, and free.”
Miley’s next career move includes a rumored role on hit sitcom, Two And A Half Men.
