Do you know how annoying it is to live on a busy road and have people blowing by your house at top speeds every day? Very annoying. So annoying, in fact, that a woman from China just had to get creative in order to stop the steady stream of traffic from disturbing her and her family every day. She had to get super creative actually. So, how’d she do it? Why, by tying an inflatable sex doll to a tree outside of her home, of course!

Um, what?! That’s right. Rather than rely on the police to get drivers to slow down, 67-year-old Lin Chen took matters into her own hands recently by purchasing an inflatable sex doll and dressing it up in lingerie in an effort to get people to slow down to check it out.

“There are a set of traffic lights near my house and the cars just shoot through them as far as they can,” she said. “It’s very dangerous. The police aren’t interested so I bought this doll and tied it to a tree. I thought that drivers would slow down if I could give them something worth looking at.”

And, wouldn’t you know, it’s worked! Since Chen put the racy doll up outside her home, police say that fewer accidents have occurred on her block because so many people are slowing down when they see the doll. Chen also says that she’s noticed that people aren’t driving by her house as quickly as they used to. And, while police say they don’t encourage others to take matters into their own hands by planting sex dolls outside their homes, they agree that Chen’s method has worked.

If you were Chen, would you do what she just decided to do? After all, you’d be losing the traffic and the accidents, but you’d be gaining more gawkers outside your house. You also would have to, you know, look at a sex doll every time you glanced out your window. But, hey: She’s got a good idea! Anyway we can get about five million of these to put up on every corner in New York City? Seems our drivers could use some distractions, too. What do you say?
