Defying doctor’s orders to maintain vocal rest, Nicki Minaj hit the Today show this morning to perform her latest hit, “Starships.”

Decked in a red skintight number and golden tresses, she and her squadron of shirtless backup dancers bounced around on stage during their live rendition of the hit as Olmpian Gabby Douglas, Jordin Sparks and more looked on:
