VH1 Cancels Ev and Ocho Because Of Domestic Violence Incident
As more details emerge about the domestic incident between Evelyn Lozada and Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson that left the Basketball Wives star with a laceration on her forehead, VH1 has announced that they will not air the duo’s reality show, Ev and Chad. Scheduled to premiere on September 3, the reality series was suppose to show the couple as they planned their July 4 wedding, but now the show may never make it on the air. In a statement, VH1 said:
“Due to the unfortunate events over the weekend and the seriousness of the allegations, VH1 is pulling the series ‘Ev and Ocho’ from its schedule and has no current plans of airing it.”
Ev and Ocho isn’t the only opportunity Chad has lost because of Saturday night’s head-butting incident, which occurred during a fight after Evelyn found a receipt for condoms in the couple’s car. As we already told you, the Miami Dolphins cut him from their roster on Sunday. Sucks for him…
