Whitney Houston‘s memory lives on as her fellow Sparkle cast members came together last night in New York City to celebrate the film’s premiere.
Tri Star Pictures hosted a red carpet screening of the film at the Tribeca Grand Hotel in Soho. The cast was on hand: Jordin Sparks, Mike Epps, Carmen Ejogo, Derek Luke, Tika Sumpter, Omari Hardwick and executive producer Debra Martin Chase. A slew of celebrities hit the carpet as well, including Russell Simmons, Gabby Sidibe, Olympic medalist Cullen Jones, Steven Baldwin, Valerie Simpson, June Ambrose, Rutina Wesley, S. Epatha Merkerson, Q Parker, Adrienne Bailon and Austin Brown.
Sparkle opens nationwide on August 17.
