The lawyers for Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries have a serious court hearing today to determine what they’ve done to either settle the case or prepare for trial.

Kris has refused to settle even though he signed what TMZ’s reporting as an “iron-clad prenup,” giving him basically nothing in the 72-day marriage. But even though Kris won’t settle, he reportedly hasn’t prepared for trial at all. His lawyers haven’t even taken Kim’s deposition, despite the fact the judge said all depositions must be in today.

In essence, Kris has no real “damages” from the failed marriage. He made hundreds of thousands of dollars from Keeping Up With The Kardashians as well as their exorbitant wedding special, plus he recently signed a $24 million basketball contract with the Brooklyn Nets.

TMZ reports it’s almost certain the trial judge will not prolong things so if Kris doesn’t want to walk away with a clean divorce, the judge will almost certainly set the case for trial—whether Kris and his legal team are prepared or not.
