Detailed Photos Of Derrick Rose’s Adidas Rose 3.0 Sneaker Have Finally Surfaced

It won’t be long now before the latest signature sneakers created for Derrick Rose by Adidas are available in stores. With only about a month left before the start of NBA training camps, sneaker companies will start to release their signature sneakers in the coming weeks, so we’re hoping to see the latest Rose sneakers up close and personal soon. But, for now, we’ll just have to settle for some detailed photos of the Adidas Rose 3.0 sneaker, which looks like it’ll be an improvement on the popular Rose 2.0 and Rose 2.5 sneakers that dropped during the 2011-12 NBA season.

As you can see here, Adidas has made a bunch of key changes to the Rose 3.0 that helps it stand apart from the other Derrick Rose signature sneakers that they’ve released in the past. The first thing you’ll see is the large Rose logo on the tongue of the sneaker. We can’t say we’re thrilled to see it appear that prominently, but it definitely sells the fact that these were made for D-Rose. Next, you’ll notice that adidas has put a bunch of diamond vents into the upper portions of the sneaker to improve breathability. They’ve also made these miCoach ready, too, so that you can track your movements on the court after you’re done playing. Overall, adidas went with a design that looks like it’ll work much better off the court than the previous Roses. So, we wouldn’t be shocked to see people rocking these to, say, the mall as opposed to strictly wearing them to ball.

D-Rose obviously won’t get a chance to rock these anytime soon, as he’s still working on rehabbing his knee after undergoing ACL surgery earlier this summer. But, you can still expect these to drop sometime in October in the U.S. with a price for them still to be determined. So, stay tuned for more official photos of the Rose 3.0, more details on the sneaker, and an exact price point. In the meantime, we hope these detailed looks at the sneakers themselves hold you over. Don’t worry—only a few more weeks until you can get really excited about these. So, scroll down and be patient.
