Many of us thought the show was already a wrap but alas, there’s one final season left to shoot of MTV’s powerhouse reality show, Jersey Shore.

The show’s sixth season will feature the entire original cast and will commence on Thursday, October 4. It will be very interesting to see who will lead the crazy shenanigans in the house, as Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi is now a mother (no word on at what stage of her pregnancy the show actually filmed) and Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino has been in and out of rehab.

Before October’s premiere episode, however, MTV will run hours of farewell programming (including a one-hour retrospective called Gym, Tan, Look Back) starting from September 6.
