No Star For You! Kim Kardashian Shouldn’t Hold Her Breath For Star On Hollywood Walk of Fame
Kim Kardashian maybe one of the most recognizable celebrities in the world, but she shouldn’t hold her breath waiting for a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. During a recent interview with V Magazine, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star revealed her hope to “break the mold” that currently blocks reality TV stars from landing a spot on the famed pavement. But a rep for The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce told the Hollywood Reporter that Kim would have to become a real actress before even being considered for a star, saying:
“Part of criteria in being honored is receiving awards such as Emmy’s, SAG Awards, Oscars etc. in the category of Television, Live Stage Performance or Motion Pictures. They have to have a career in the business of acting for five years or more.”
In other words, get your weight up Kim. You may have reality TV superstardom, but that still makes you persona non grata in the eyes of real deal Hollywood types.
