Sneaker collaborations are so last year. Okay, okay. So, maybe that’s not entirely true. There are still some sneaker collaborations that we’ve seen lately that we’re riding for. But, if you really want to impress us these days, you’ve got to come with a super collaboration (should we blame this on LeBron James, too?) that really makes us do a double take. Or, better yet, make that a triple take. And, that’s exactly what BAPE, UNDFTD, and Adidas have done with the new BAPE x UNDFTD x adidas ZX5000 “Triple Threat” runner that they’ve put together. All three of the brands had a say in how the sneaker turned out and a whole lot of collaborating had to be done to get it finished.

Although there aren’t a ton of details about the sneaker available yet, Sneaker Freaker got a sneak peek at them recently and showcased them on the front cover of Issue 25. As you can see, the sneakers feature BAPE’s signature camo print, plenty of army green and khaki, and the classic adidas “Three Stripes” pattern in red, white, and blue. There’s a lot going on with the sneaker, especially since there were so many cooks in the kitchen. But, BAPE, UNDFTD, and Adidas still managed to put together a solid sneaker that works well.

As far as when and where you’ll be able to get this sneaker, you’ll just have to sit back and wait for the three companies—or, at least one of the three companies—to put out some release info. We imagine that the ZX5000 “Triple Threat” will be extremely limited and hard to find once it drops. But, we’ll just have to see how the companies plan on rolling it out. We expect that they’ll put it out sometime this fall or towards the later part of this year. So, stay tuned.
