Taking a leaf out of Eminem‘s 8 Mile handbook (when he stepped to the mic and addressed every issue people had with him before his freestyle opponent could do the same) Kanye West is rapping about girlfriend Kim Kardashian‘s famous sex tape.

And on the new track “Clique,” ‘Ye isn’t just acknowledging the 2007 tape that featured Kim and ex Ray-J—he’s bragging about how it made her who she is today. He raps, “Break records in Louis/Eat breakfast at Gucci/My girl a superstar all from a home movie.”

The track is from G.O.O.D Music’s upcoming collaborative album Cruel Summer, which hits stores September 18.
