The Apple iPhone 5 Is Definitely Dropping Sometime Shortly After September 12
One week. Seven days. 168 hours. That’s all that stands between you…and the Apple iPhone 5. And, we’re not just speculating about it anymore, either. We’re not taking some random blog’s “inside info” on the iPhone 5, nor are we trusting some strange source from a Chinese factory where iPhone 5s are being produced. And, we’re not going off what someone said on Twitter. We got the news straight from Apple—and we’re happy as hell about it. On September 12, Apple will show off the iPhone 5 for the first time ever—and they’ll make it available to the public shortly after that.
So, how do we know this? Well, just take a look at the photo that Apple sent out to journalists, bloggers, and other members of the media yesterday. It features the words “It’s almost here” along with a large number “12″ to represent the date that they’ll be holding a media event next week. And, that 12 also features a shadow that forms a “5″ on the bottom of the invite. Oh, Apple. We see what you did there, and we’re glad that you did. Now, we can end the speculation.
For those who want to set their calendars, the iPhone 5 event will officially start next Wednesday at 10AM/PST at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco. Aside from the iPhone 5, there have also been rumors about some other things that Apple may or may not be announcing that day. For instance, there’s a chance that, in addition to the iPhone 5, they may also release details on an iPad Mini that they’ve been working on. And, they may show off some new Apple headphones, too, that’ll come packaged along with the iPhone. There may be some other small software updates that we’ll find out about as well.
Only one week, seven days, and 168 hours stand between us…and the truth. We can’t wait. Can you?
