Is Ronnie Fieg Dropping Another Sneaker With New Balance This Year?

Even though it’s only September, we’re already pretty sure that the Ronnie Fieg x New Balance “Steel Blue” 999 sneakers are going to end up on year-end lists all over the Internet. While there will be plenty of Nike Air Jordan sneakers and Nike Air Foamposite One sneakers on that list—and rightfully so—the “Steel Blue” kicks made a big impact when they dropped. And, if anyone was able to get a pair and feels like sliding them our way, we definitely wouldn’t turn them down. They were one of our favorites in 2012.

It doesn’t look like Ronnie Fieg and New Balance are stopping anytime soon, either. Earlier this week, the photo that you see above started making the rounds on sneaker blogs. It’s reportedly another collaboration that’s set to take place between Ronnie Fieg and New Balance. And, while there’s not a whole lot here for us to see outside of the New Balance logo, we still have to admit that we’re intrigued. The royal and turquoise color combination goes nicely together, and we think that Ronnie Fieg and New Balance will have another hit on their hands when these drop. Ronnie Fieg seems to have dope design down to a science when it comes to working with New Balance.

As of right now, there’s absolutely no release information available for these sneakers. There’s no price. There’s no release date. And, there’s no indication of where they’ll drop yet. But, if we were you, we’d keep a close eye out for these things. When they do get rolled out, they’ll probably go just as quickly as all of the other Ronnie Fieg x New Balance collaborations (those things sold out quickly, to say the least). Hopefully, we’ll get a better look at these soon. So, keep your eyes peeled for a bright-blue pair of New Balance.
