VIDEO: An iPhone 5 Booting Up

With the announcement of the new device just days away, footage has leaked of what is reportedly an iPhone 5. Not a technical drawing, not a label, not a case, not just the frame, but an actual whole iPhone that is turned on. (So it has to be real, right?)

The message on the iPhone 5 after it boots up says that the phone cannot connect:

This device is not registered as part of the iPhone Developer Program. If you are a member of the program, please register your device in the @@url@@.

Confirming many rumors, the new iPhone appears to be taller and thinner, with a much larger screen, and new backing material. The docking connector is indeed much smaller, and the earbud port is moved to the bottom.

Of course, the video could be fake.

What do you think? Tune in on Sept. 12 to find out the truth.
