Gossip Girl Star Blake Lively Marries Ryan Reynolds In A Secret Ceremony
Spotted! One Blake Lively marrying her real-life superhero, actor Ryan Reynolds.
Rumors began swirling late Sunday that the actor and actress, who have only been dating for a year, tied the knot in Boone Hall Plantation in Mt. Pleasant, S.C after a tweet went out by a Charleston, S.C. radio station 95sx saying: “Hold up, there’s another story that it’s Ryan Reynolds and he married Blake Lively at the Cotton Docks today!” The story was later confirmed by People magazine.
According to multiple reports, the couple wed in a private ceremony in front of close friends and family over the weekend. Florence and the Machine‘s front-woman Florence Welch sang three songs at the reception. Also in town was celebrity designer Christian Louboutin who reportedly made the bride a pair of beautiful shoes to walk down the the aisle.
Although the pair were born 10 years apart, Blake, 25, and Ryan, 35, instantly bonded on the set of 2011′s Green Lantern. After six months of dating, the couple bought a house together in Bedford, N.Y. This is the first marriage for Lively, while Ryan divorced Scarlett Johansson in 2010 after a high-profile two-year marriage.
