50 Cent Talks Teaming Up With Manny Pacquiao
50 Cent raised quite a few eyebrows by announcing his new partnership with Manny Pacquiao.
The long-time friend and associate of Floyd Mayweather (well-known as Pacquiao’s nemesis) has decided to join forces with Pacquiao for a new boxing promotions company, which he says doesn’t conflict with his relationship with Mayweather. He spoke on it briefly this morning on Power 105′s The Breakfast Club show:
Just a few months back, 50 and Mayweather were signing boxers to their joint venture TMT Promotions (including exciting young Australian boxer, Billy Dib). That company appears to have dissolved, with Dib speaking to the Sydney Morning Herald yesterday about now solely being signed to Mayweather.
“He [Mayweather] was in partnership with 50 Cent but they’ve decided not to go ahead with that company, and Floyd is going to do his own thing,” Dib says. “This [contract with Mayweather] is a three- to four-year deal, and as I told Floyd this morning, I’m in this for the long haul.”
