An NBA Player Played Basketball—Outside!—In A Pair Of Nike Air Yeezy IIs Recently
It’s been awhile since we’ve done a post about the Nike Air Yeezy II sneakers. Immediately after they dropped, there were a ton of celebrities wearing them and a whole lot of people selling them on eBay for a huge profit. But, since then, there have been a bunch of other sneakers that have been released. So, the Yeezy II sneakers have more or less taken a backseat to them. But, we’re here to tell you that there are still some pretty crazy things going on with the Yeezy IIs. Namely, one NBA player just wore a pair to play basketball—outside!
That player is Nate Robinson, and he’s known for wearing all kinds of pretty crazy kicks. During games, he’s known for rocking rare Air Jordans and for switching them up pretty regularly. Whoever his Jordan connect is is definitely legit. But, this is crazier than anything else that he’s ever done. As you can see in the clip below—which features Kanye West and Jay-Z‘s “Illest Motherf**ker Alive” playing in the background—Robinson actually wore his Yeezy IIs outside to play some ball recently. That’s right. He wore some sneakers that are going for upwards of $2000 right now outside! And then, he posted a video of it online, just to stunt on the rest of us.
We’re sure he’ll be okay. He makes millions of dollars every year, so a pair of Yeezy IIs isn’t really a big deal to him. But, what’s next? A video of him hooping in some Air Mags?! Or, better yet, one of him burning some Space Jam Jordans?! We know you get all the sneakers you can handle, Nate. But, this just isn’t fair, man! Save some sneakers for the rest of us, will ya? Or, at the very least, treat the ones that you have with a little more respect! Because, this just isn’t right…
