Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj already have the claws out on the set of American Idol, according to various sources.
The divas went at it during the first taping of the show in New York yesterday, TMZ reports. When Nicki would give her critique to the aspiring contestants, Mariah would apparently interrupt—not once, but many times. And each time she interrupted, Nicki fought back by loudly taking over her.
One “spy” on the set said the lades tried to cover their dislike for each other but everyone saw through it, adding, “These girls just don’t like each other.”
TMZ first reported weeks ago that when producers called Mariah to tell her Nicki would be joining her as a judge on Idol, she hung up the phone.
