Adele Is Designing A Plus-Size Clothing Collection For Burberry
Rumor has it that Adele is designing a fashion line in collaboration with Burberry.
According to Vogue UK, the pregnant songstress is working with Christopher Bailey on a plus-size collection. Adele “was personally approached by creative director Bailey to become an ambassador for the British fashion house, and asked to work with him on a ‘bespoke” range for voluptuous customers.”
The 156-year clothing brand has a close relationship with the “Rolling in the Deep” singer. “I’ve met Christopher Bailey a few times,” Adele has said in the past. “I’ve always loved Burberry. I remember saving for three years to get my first bag before I got signed.”
Even if the rumors aren’t true, here’s a list of eight other plus-size ladies we’d love to see in clothes designed by Adele. From Bachelorette star Rebel Wilson and Glee alum Amber Riley to Single Ladies’ Queen Latifah and funny gal Melissa McCartney, these lovely ladies would look great in her clothing line.
