Everyone knows that X-Factor‘s Simon Cowell rakes in the big bucks. But did you know that Cowell’s salary is at $40 million? Absurd right? But guess what? He’s not even the #1 earner on TV. Want to take a guess at who makes a paycheck that is $5 million more than the X-Factor creator?

Yes, Judge Judy Sheindlin.
According to a Yahoo! report, Judge Judy pulls in a seemingly ridiculous $45 million paycheck. Forbes states that she is the 13th richest woman in all of entertainment. All of that from a courtroom show? Amazing.
Not too far behind is Judge Joe Brown who makes $20 million for his syndicated court show.
Goes to show that courtroom TV is the big winner on television.
