Listen To Lady Gaga’s New Rap Song, “Cake Like Gaga”

By now, we all know that Lady Gaga loves to push the envelope. Over the years, we’ve learned to expect the unexpected from a woman willing to bottle her own blood (sorta), prance around town as a nymph, and moonlight as Joe Calderone.

But, Lady Gaga…the rapper?! She may just be that, too. Lady Gaga and her producer DJ White Shadow decided to pull a fast one on fans recently by releasing a rap song called “Cake Like Gaga.” The foolishness began when DJ White Shadow announced on Twitter that he was in search of a lyricist to provide vocals for an instrumental hip-hop track he’d written. Once the “winner” was chosen, DJ White Shadow tweeted the track featuring what sounded like a man’s voice with a super-slow drawl.

Things got interesting when a fan got hold of the track and sped it up. Shocker! Turns out it was Lady Gaga all along. “Iced out chain,” Gaga rhymes. “I’m deep off in the f—ing game/Everybody knows my name/Diamond rings, like Lady Gaga/Diamond rings in yo’ face.”

Listen to both versions of “Cake Like Gaga” below. Do you think Gaga has a future as a rapper?
