New York Knicks Player Iman Shumpert Tests The Apple iPhone 5 By Dunking It

As you’re well aware of by now, the Apple iPhone 5 was released last Friday to huge fanfare. At this point, Apple has sold millions and millions of iPhone 5s and the sales orders are still coming in as more people decide to make the upgrade to Apple’s latest phone. And, along with all of those sales come a whole range of reviews of the phone. Just about everyone has said great things about it thus far—with a few exceptions here and there—but we can guarantee you that you haven’t seen or read a review like this yet:

As you can see in the video, New York Knicks player Iman Shumpert wanted to do a review of the iPhone 5—but he wanted to do it in his own special way. So, rather than simply walking you through the specs of the iPhone 5, he decided to give it a very unique durability test by playing basketball with it. He attempted to dribble it through his legs. He used it to take a shot. He stepped back behind the three-point line and chucked it at the backboard. And, he even slam-dunked it through the rim and let it fall to the ground. He really put that particular iPhone 5 through the ringer.

So, how did it hold up? Well, you’ll have to watch the video for yourself to see. But, let’s just say that while the iPhone 5 is more durable than previous iPhones, it’s not indestructible. We also have to warn those of you who get that awful feeling in the pit of your stomach every time you drop your phone: This video is not for you! If you don’t mind it, though, go press play. Because, this is easily our favorite review of the iPhone 5 thus far. We dare someone else to try topping it.
