Party Not! Is LMFAO Breaking Up?
Is the party over for America’s favorite party rockers Redfoo and SkyBlu, otherwise known as LMFAO?
Rumors began swirling last week when Redfoo announced that he and his 26-year-old nephew wanted to stop “forcing it” and take a break. “I feel like we’ve been doing this for so long, five or six years,” the 37-year-old singer explained to News.Com.Au. “And we’re kind of like saying, ‘Well, let’s just do what’s natural and just kind of explore that,’ instead of forcing it all the time.”
But, just as fans were about to suggest that the duo not get crazy, take some shotsand work it out, SkyBlu announced that LMFAO was merely taking a hiatus. “Well, you know, first of all, we’re not breaking up. I know that for sure. We’re family and stuff, so it’s always love,” he told MTV News. “It’s interesting because somebody will say one thing [and] it’s just like high school, then all of a sudden [it's] ‘They’re breaking up. They’re fighting.’ It kind of gets blown out of proportion, so we’re definitely not breaking up.”
