Rick Ross And Young Jeezy Get Into Backstage Tussle At BET Hip-Hop Awards; Shots Fired In Parking Lot

All kinds of drama has jumped off at the taping of the BET Hip-Hop Awards!!! Reportedly, Young Jeezy and Rick Ross got into a backstage tussle, which led to a member of Ricky’s entourage busting shots in the parking lot. According to TMZ:

“…Ross and Jeezy exchanged words backstage and started pushing and shoving each other. We’re told BET security and bodyguards for each of the rappers eventually separated the two.

Our sources on the scene say that after the fight had been broken up, a member of Rick Ross’ entourage pulled out a gun while in the parking lot and shots were fired. It is unclear if the man was arrested.

We’re told Jeezy and Ross are still at the awards, which are being taped tonight in Atlanta and air next month.”

The rift between the two A-list rappers stems from a freestyle that Jeezy recorded over the instrumental to Rick’s hit “B.M.F.” titled “Death B4 Dishonor” in 2010. Some of the lines in the song were taken by many as a diss against Rick. But earlier this year, Rick revealed in an interview with MTV that he wasn’t against a collaboration with the Snowman, saying, “I’m always ’bout business; that’s why I’m here. I haven’t taken nothin’ personal since I came in the game and I think if you in this business and plan on having longevity in this you shouldn’t take nothin’ personal.”

Pointing out that nothing had gotten physical between he and Jeezy, Rick added, “Ain’t nobody stepped on my Jordans yet, not out here. As far as I’m concerned, bring that money bag, let’s shake the world up, that’s what Double M-G is about.”

Ah well, so much for that.
