The love triangle that was Rihanna, Chris Brown, and Karrueche Tran might have just become a straight line. Rumor has it that Chris’ current girlfriend Karrueche may have dumped Brown after reports surfaced that Chris and Rihanna had a hot and heavy make-out session at NYC’s Griffin nightclub recently.

“The two were in VIP dancing, drinking, and snuggling up before they left separately a short time later,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com. “Rihanna became hype and started dancing when reggae songs started to blast. She was touching and smelling Brown, in a very loving and affectionate way.”

To make matters worse for Karreuche, after several hours of hugging and kissing, the pair apparently retreated to Rihanna’s hotel room. Chris was seen creeping out of the Gansevoort Park Hotel (above) where Rihanna was staying, around 3 in the morning. Rihanna left moments later.

This isn’t the first time Chris and Rihanna have been caught in the act. Just last month, the two locked lips at the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards (above), enraging Karreuche who was “totally pissed off,” a source told Us Magazine. “She felt the kiss was a public slap in the face.”

Either way, it seems that Rihanna and Chris’ on-again off-again relationship is on once more. “They are back in business,” a source revealed. “They talk all the time and last night [Chris] went to [Rihanna's] hotel and chilled with her. She told him on the phone she ‘had some time and wanted to spend it with him’ and that’s all it took. His car took him over to her spot and the rest was history.”
