Are Jordin Sparks & Jason Derulo Getting Married?
Wedding bells are a ringing!
Jordin Sparks, 22, has been Jason Derulo‘s “It Girl” since August 1, 2011 and the two recently celebrated their one-year anniversary. And now, the lovebirds are talking marriage. “It’s not a conversation that we’re scared about,” Sparks told Us Weekly recently. “Before, we both went through tragedies this year—he broke his neck and then [Sparkle costar] Whitney [Houston] passed—so before it might have been a little too crazy.”
According to reports, Derulo’s injury, which occurred when he missed a landing during a dance routine, could have resulted in paralysis. Since then, the couple has become obsessed with living in the moment and taking nothing in life for granted. “You really see the people you love and you go, I don’t want to lose you,” she explained. “So, it’s a conversation we have, but we’re not in a rush, [but] I hope he does! It’s not happening yet, but I hope so.”
