Omarosa, La Toya Jackson, Lil Jon, & More Join All-Star Celebrity Apprentice
You’re re-hired! Sort of…
Fourteen previous contestants, including 13 previous losers, from Celebrity Apprentice have signed on to star in a new “All-Star” season. Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth, who recently suffered the loss of fiancee Michael Clarke Duncan, will also compete, although she was a participant in the first non-celebrity season.
“We wouldn’t have done the ‘All-Star’ concept unless we were able to get the right contestants back,” show creator Donald Trump said recently. “Who would have thought? When we first signed for it, they didn’t even take an option (for more seasons). No one thought it would go any further. My business is real estate, but the show has been an amazing experience.”
The cast includes country music star Trace Adkins, actors Stephen Baldwin and Gary Busey, actresses Lisa Rinna, Claudia Jordan, and Marilu Henner, rapper Lil Jon, magician Penn Jillette, former NBA star Dennis Rodman, Twisted Sister‘s Dee Snider, singer La Toya Jackson, Omarosa, Playboy Playmate of the Year Brande Roderick, and former winner, Poison‘s Bret Michaels.
“They’re all very smart, and I think they learned a lot from their last go-around. This time, some of them will change their game to fool their rivals—some for better, some for worse,” Trump told the Associated Press, before admitting that he has his favorites. “Absolutely, I do. Some people I like much more than others. I’m a human being, so I have my likes and my dislikes. But I don’t let that cloud my judgment. If I like somebody but somebody deserves to be fired, I’ll always fire them, as opposed to somebody that I don’t like if they don’t deserve it. I would lose total credibility if I did otherwise.”
Celebrity Apprentice All-Stars will debut on NBC in March 2013. Listen to the Trump talk about the new season below. Will you be watching?
