What Would You Do If Jordin Sparks Asked You To Help Her Pick Out A Pair Of Sneakers?

If Married With Children taught us anything, it’s that life would suck if we worked at a shoe store and had to spend our days squeezing other peoples’ feet into sneakers. Old ladies? Young whippersnappers? That smelly lady who works at the bingo hall? Noooooo, thank you! Then again, Al Bundy never had to deal with someone like Jordin Sparks before. If he did, he may have rethought his career choice.

To help get the word about the Reebok ZigLite Electrifys out into the world, Reebok just got Miss Sparks to make an appearance in a new viral video that features her walking into a Finish Line to pick out a pair of sneakers. And, as you might expect, the guy who offers her some help flips out when he first sees her. He says he sounds like Ruben Studdard, he attempts to sing for her on several occasions, and he basically holds an American Idol audition right there in the middle of the store. It’s, um…well, it’s pretty interesting. It’s also enough to make you consider pressing stop on the video—until, of course, you remember that Jordin Sparks is in it.

So, hey: We would recommend that you watch this clip anyway. It’ll give you a better view of the ZigLite Electrifys. It’ll give you the chance to see a pretty funny cameo at the end. And…yo, it features Jordin Sparks! And, she looks mighty good these days. So, go ahead and press play on the clip below and enjoy. It’s one hell of a way to start your weekend, eh?
