Cissy Houston And Bobbi Kristina Brown Come To Agreement Over Inheritance

As we previously told you, Whitney Houston‘s mother, Cissy Houston, and her sister-in-law, Pat, were fighting to stop the late pop icon’s daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown, from getting her hands on the $20 million she inherited from her mother’s estate any time soon. Reportedly, worried that Bobbi Kristina’s life would follow the same tragic path as her mother’s if she had access to such a large amount of money before she’s ready, the duo was hoping to delay the distribution of the trust set up for the 19-year-old until she’s matured significantly. Despite their concerns, it appears everyone has come to an agreement, and it doesn’t differ that greatly from the original distribution schedule. According to TMZ:

“…the case has been dismissed after Bobbi and Cissy reached an agreement … and sources tell us Whitney’s originally plan for the payout was virtually unchanged.

Still, we’re told both Bobbi and Cissy are satisfied with the plan … and are happy to put the case behind them.”

I’m glad they were able to work this thing out, but do you think it was Cissy’s place to try to block Bobbi Kristina from getting her inheritance when she’s supposed to receive it? Or do you think attention-loving Pat had more of a hand in this than what we know?
