Steve Jobs’ Yacht Unveiled In The Netherlands
One of Steve Jobs’ last personal projects, worked on right up until his death last year, was unveiled in the Netherlands this week. The massive luxury yacht, developed in collaboration with minimalist designer Philippe Starck and christened Venus, is sleek, simple, and (of course) white. It looks exactly like a ship from the oracle of the Mac.
Dutch website OneMoreThing released video of the docked Venus:
It is stunning in appearance; it makes me think of a futuristic Bauhaus space ship. But I’d really love to see any Apple inspired magic in the ship’s inner workings and furnishings. Mashable does report that Venus “is said to have seven 27-inch iMacs on board.”
Venus joins a short list of the remaining tech and design projects personally touched by Jobs. What do you think of the luxury yacht?
