New York Knicks Fans Will Love The Adidas Top Ten 2000 “New York City” Sneakers
Fans of the New York Knicks are sure lucky, aren’t they? Er, yeah—at least, when you forget about the fact that they haven’t had a championship team to cheer for in…well, let’s just say that it’s been awhile. But, they are lucky when it comes to the sneaker game. Over the course of the last few years, there have been a number of different Knicks-colored sneakers that have dropped. The patented royal blue-and-orange colorway that has become synonymous with the Knickerbockers has been used on all different kinds of sneakers. And, that trend appears to be continuing with a brand new sneaker that’s going to drop soon.
Sometime before the end of the year, Adidas will be dropping a “City Pack” of their classic Top Ten 2000 sneakers. And, they just released images of the “New York City” pair of Top Ten 2000s that feature—what else?—the Knicks team colors. They feature a synthetic upper construction with a Royal Blue base, orange accents on the shoelaces, heel, and tongue, an all-orange outer sole, and “NYC” branded on the Top Ten 2000′s intricate lacing system. New York Knicks fans win again with these sneakers.
As of right now, we’re not exactly sure when these will be dropping or where they’re going to be available. But, in addition to the “New York City” sneakers, Adidas will also be releasing sneakers that are built to represent Chicago and Los Angeles, so be on the lookout for those as well. Take a look at some other shots of the “New York City” sneakers below. Do you think that Knicks fans have another hit on their hands? And, if you weren’t a fan of them already, do these make you love the Top Ten 2000 sneakers? Let us know if you’ll be copping a pair when they drop later this year.
