Rita Ora Returns Home For Her “Shine Ya Light” Music Video
Who says you can’t go home again?
Rita Ora returns to her hometown of Pristina, Kosovo and shows off where she grew up in a big way in the new video for “Shine Ya Light.”
“I was born in a little city called Pristina which no one really knows about,” Rita has said in the past. “So I’m proud to kind of put it on the map out there a little bit because we are a very patriotic country so we always try and mention us wherever we can because it’s such a great place.”
The 21-year-old Roc Nation artist manages to rock a number of high-fashion looks in the glossy video, including everything from a black Dior beenie and Sacred Heart tee to a Jean Paul Gaultier black bomber vest and Christian Louboutin knee-high boots. “I can’t explain to you what this means,” Rita says of being able to share special places from her childhood with the world. “This is the only place I wanted to shoot my video.”
