Taylor Swift is a popular girl. So, she can’t exactly be expected to date one major magazine cover exclusively.

While she may have just suffered a breakup with Conor Kennedy, the country mega-superstar is riding high after selling four million copies of her latest album Red in just one week. Now, the blonde beauty is ending the year right by landing on the December 2012 c0ver of not one but two fashion publications, Cosmopolitan and Elle Canada.

Sporting two opposite looks, the “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” singer appears ethereal on the cover of Elle and ready to meet her Prince Charming in the photo shoot by Andrew Macpherson. For Cosmopolitan, the blonde bombshell vamps things up in a mini skirt with a loose purple tank top. Inside the magazine, Taylor loosens up and dishes about her views on love.

“I have a chalkboard in my house in L.A., and every week, I’ve been writing a new lyric on it from the record just to figure out which ones pop out to me, which seems most important,” she says. ” There’s a song that’s the first track on the record, and it says, ‘Love is a ruthless game unless you play it good and right.’ That’s been my whole philosophy on love this whole time anyway.”

And, while the 22-year-old singer has been unlucky in the game of love, she’s not into playing games at all. “I think a lot of times when you meet someone you feel like you need to appear like you’re not interested in them so that they’ll be more interested in you,” she confessed. “But what happens when you start showing him that you actually like him? What’s he gonna do then? Play the tape forward; how do you keep a guy like that? I don’t want to sign up for that.”

Despite the ups and downs in her relationships, Taylor is looking forward to spending time with one of the constants in her life—her fans.”I didn’t think I could be any more excited about my Red album, but then I start thinking about how I’m going to put the new show together for The RED Tour,” she revealed. “I have so many ideas about how to really bring this music to life, and I can’t wait to share the new show with all my fans!”
